I teach Piping at Southeast Community College, Division of Continuing Education (Spring & Fall Sessions), and offer private one-on-one lessons in my home. All that is required is a practice chanter and determination to start. My fee is $15 for a half hour, and $25 for an hour.  For beginners a half hour to an hour lesson once a week is usually adequate.  Please contact me through the contact page of the web site if interested.

Here’s some of what others have said:

Last night was great - your role was the absolute key to success - our team will be talking about the evening for years to come - I saw the Coldstream Guard in person when I was 14 years old and from that day forward the sound of the pipes never fails to stir my soul.

Thank you!

Vintage Pipes?

Let's get neglected bagpipes back into the hands of the next generation.  Let's get old bagpipes sounding great again!

Have a set of vintage pipes in your attic, garage, or cellar?  Wondering what to do with them?  Wondering if they are able to be restored, or if they are even worth restoring?  Please contact me and I'll try and find out an answer for you.

You may call or text me at 402-217-8170 to get the conversation started.  Better yet, send an email through the "Contact" page of this website and we can establish an email correspondence about what you have and what you'd like to do with your old pipes.  I buy vintage pipes at a fair price.  I can also get most pipes in playable condition for you.

If you have an old practice chanter, let me know.  I buy practice chanters, too.  My students are needing and looking  for practice chanters.

If you are nearby and want to bring them in, I'll take a look at them.  I am based in Lincoln, Nebraska.

I’m a prolific practitioner of the bagpipe, serving Lincoln, Nebraska, and surrounding areas.  I instruct privately and teach group classes at Southeast Community College, Division of Continuing Education, Lincoln Campus. I'm glad you found me!

Please use the "Contact" page of this site to contact me with any questions you may have, or call/text 402-217-8170

I perform at Weddings, Funerals, Golf Events, Corporate Events, School Functions, Retirements Parties, Ceremonies, Birthday Parties, Receptions, Festivals, and any type of gathering, or celebration. If you’re interested, listen to a couple tune samples below this column.

I have over 25 years experience playing the Highland Bagpipe.  I am the former Pipe Major for the Lincoln, Nebraska Pipes & Drums, so you can be assured that you are in good hands.

Regardless of your event, you can be confident I will present a professional, polished performance.

All standard events payable by cash or check. Half payment due at the time of the booking.

Standard funeral - service and/or graveside performance.

Standard wedding - bridal march, and/or recessional.

Other requests such as a rehearsal or reception performance, required driving distance, etc., may increase fee.

Keep in mind the bagpipe is a loud instrument, and works best in an environment where the audience can be at a reasonable distance.

The pipes, in tune and played well, produce lovely music.

I am  often available at the last minute.

Please use the "Contact" page of this site to contact me with any questions you may have, or call/text 402-217-8170

Thank You!

From time to time I'm invited into schools to introduce the Highland Bagpipe to music students. In early November, I had the enjoyable opportunity to work with students in Giltner, Nebraska, and made a day of it by Piping at their Veterans Day Celebration.
